Monoroof joins Mates in Mind

On National Stress Awareness Day, we’re proud to announce our membership of Mates in Mind, a UK charity dedicated to improving mental health in the construction industry.

“Our people are our greatest asset, and their health and wellbeing are our top priorities,” said Michael Platt, Managing Director. “National Stress Awareness Day reminds us all of the impact that mental health can have. We encourage everyone to reach out to each other, check in on friends and family, and seek help when needed. “

Sadly, we recently lost one of our colleagues, Ryan. To honour Ryan’s memory we are making a financial donation to Horwich RMI Football Club. Ryan was a volunteer coach with Horwich RMI’s youth section and was always excited and thrilled about the development of the players.

Losing two of our colleagues and friends in such tragic circumstances in recent years reminds us of the importance of mental health awareness and the need to support one another, particularly in times of difficulty. Through our membership of Mates in Mind we aim to equip our team with practical tools to help manage stress and recognise early signs of mental health struggles.
